In Iceland everyone’s favourite online stream follows kittens living in a doll house. A new family just moved in, and they are all ginger! The project is a collaboration between The Icelandic Cat Protection Society, The Icelandic Food and Veterinary Authority (MAST) and South Iceland Animal Welfare Surveillant, the aim being to promote adoption of stray cats. The new family in Keeping up with the Kattarshians dollhouse consists of mother Vanilla and her five kittens, Grettir, Nói, Trítill, Tópas and Nóa (the only female sibling). Vanilla came to Kattholt cat shelter when she was pregnant, and the kittens were born there. The siblings, four weeks old, are still drinking their mother’s milk, and in the next few weeks viewers of Keeping up with the Kattarshians can see Vanilla teach her little kittens pretty much everything towards becoming independent cats, according to Nútíminn online newspaper.
