Access has now been made easier to the lower observation deck at Gullfoss- the Golden Waterfall in Iceland. Tourists are now able to use a new staircase at Iceland’s most famous waterfall Gullfoss, one of the country’s most popular tourist spots. The new facilities, put up by the Iceland Environmental Agency to further protect the area and improve safety, were long overdue, as the older staircase had become worn and generally in a bad shape, the construction of the new staircase was considered a priority on a long list of planned improvements pertaining to the infrastructure at Iceland’s many natural sites of attraction. A word of warning; Although the staircase has been put into use, some work is still left with regards to the area around it.
