All visitors, locals as well as tourists, are now being charged ISK 250 for using the toilets at the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre. The award-winning building is an extremely popular tourist hub and the management says that the charge is toward ensuring that the restroom facilities remain in good standard. However, people attending events, concerts or conferences at the building or guests dining at the restaurants inside Harpa will be able to use the toilets without paying a fee.
